The World of Treasure Cove 1972

This vintage film promotes the proposed community of "Treasure Cove." The community was intended as a recreational location with a golf course, marina, and horseback riding facilities.

Treasure Cove was partially constructed and is now called Fairfield Harbour. Fairfield began as Port O'Pines and transformed into Treasure Cove before finally becoming Fairfield Harbour in the 1970s. A temporary dam erected during construction was removed so river water would fill up the FH canals.
